Sounds like fun, right?
That’s because it is.
The first thing that drew my attention was of course the cover and the name. a good book should always have a catchy titled and a memorable cover. there are books I have cast aside because the cover wasn't that eye-catching to me. the title did not draw me in like i'm praying either. And there are some I've read-only because of the tittle.
Cliché but with the right conflict. This is a story about, as you already know, a boy who is on the verge of losing his inheritance because of his promiscuous ways, at least that’s what his mother thinks. Contrary to the truth.
And a girl who needs money but is too proud to have it handed to her. I must say, I was impressed by her sternness. But, she’s not stupid, she knows the money will help. Realistic, right? I mean, you would take the money too if your brother was in jail, falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. Juicy!
The pretend I don’t love you leads to I can’t bear to stay away from you, but will their love truly make it?And of course, there is a villain. The mother from hell. The one who orchestrated the whole mess.
Hired to Love by Jordan Lynde is a modern realistic tale that we all hope could happen to us. Finding love at the oddest time and place in life, and most of all, finding true love. Let’s keep dreaming, it will come to pass.
