Before I pour out my heartbreak, you need to know that Meaghan gave Wulfrun a terrific setting. The plot is well though through and the characters are nothing less than vivid.
I believe when she sat down before her computer, she really wanted to write something no one has before. It's bold, I would have loved it.
However, the main character isn't quite the main character. It was clear that Wulfrun's main character was to be the Wolf prince's muse, but alas it was the sister. She wasn't suited for the role.
The pain comes here. The wolf prince. It wasn't his fault that he was cursed. And clearly, there was a way to save him. The story did not sooth my aching heart.
In fact, Wulfrun ended tragically, and may I say, an avoidable tragic. Why couldn't you just let the prince reunite with his long lost love and rule the forest together?
I will never heal from this.
